Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 July 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at legalmotion.pro (the "Website") operated by LegalMotion Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202648291K), registered at 1 Wallich Street, #14-01 Guoco Tower, Singapore 078881 ("LegalMotion", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.
1. About the Website
The Website provides general information about LegalMotion's commercial law practice in Singapore, including our services, representative work, firm information and contact channels. The Website is intended for users seeking information about legal services in Singapore and for existing or prospective clients to initiate contact with our firm.
LegalMotion is a Singapore law practice. References to "counsel", "lawyers" and "legal services" on the Website describe professional legal work performed by or under the supervision of qualified personnel in accordance with applicable professional rules in Singapore.
2. No legal advice or client relationship
Content on the Website — including text, summaries, case descriptions, FAQ answers and downloadable materials — is provided for general information purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice tailored to your circumstances and must not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a qualified lawyer.
Accessing the Website, reading its content or submitting a contact form does not create a solicitor-client relationship between you and LegalMotion. A client relationship is formed only when we expressly agree to act for you, typically confirmed in a written engagement letter setting out scope, fees and terms of service.
Legal outcomes depend on specific facts, evidence and applicable law. Past matter summaries and representative work described on the Website are anonymised illustrations only. They do not guarantee or predict results in any future matter. You should not interpret any Website content as a promise or warranty of any particular legal outcome.
3. Permitted use
You may access and use the Website for lawful personal or business purposes related to evaluating or engaging LegalMotion's services. You agree not to:
- Use the Website in any way that violates applicable law or regulation in Singapore or your jurisdiction.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, our servers or connected systems.
- Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code.
- Scrape, crawl or systematically extract content using automated tools without our prior written consent.
- Reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from Website content except as permitted by applicable law or with our written permission.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when submitting enquiries or communications.
- Use the Website to transmit unsolicited commercial messages or spam.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, images, layout, design elements and software — is owned by or licensed to LegalMotion and protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. The LegalMotion name, logo and associated branding may not be used without our prior written consent.
You may print or download reasonable portions of the Website for personal reference or for the purpose of evaluating our services. Any other use requires our express written permission.
5. Contact form and communications
When you submit our contact form, you represent that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You must complete the PDPA consent field before submission. We process form data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Submitting an enquiry does not obligate LegalMotion to accept your matter. We reserve the right to decline engagements for any reason permitted by law and professional conduct rules, including conflicts of interest, capacity constraints or matters outside our practice areas.
6. Third-party links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites for convenience or reference. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or availability of linked sites. Links do not imply endorsement. You access third-party sites at your own risk and should review their terms and policies.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of viruses or other harmful components. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Website at any time without notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in Singapore, LegalMotion and its directors, employees, agents and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Website, reliance on Website content, unauthorised access to your data or any other matter relating to the Website — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising from or related to the Website shall not exceed one hundred Singapore dollars (SGD 100).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Singapore law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LegalMotion and its personnel from any claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, and you submit to that jurisdiction.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving the parties' intent.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms on the Website with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
13. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (each as linked on the Website and as updated from time to time), constitute the entire agreement between you and LegalMotion regarding use of the Website. They supersede any prior understandings or communications about Website use, except where a separate written engagement letter governs a solicitor-client relationship for legal services — in which case the engagement letter prevails for matters within its scope.
No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be effective unless in writing and signed by LegalMotion. Failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision or any other provision.
